What is digital marketing?  How is it different from traditional marketing?  And more importantly why is it different?  Well it’s not.  Online is only a media channel where everybody is merging into for longer period of their time.  It’s a space they like hanging out, just like we used to at the cafe with our friends or at the soccer field with our neighbors.  The only difference is we don’t need those friends or neighbors  anymore to hang out.  We can find new ones as we wish or be with ourselves.  Community culture is his story and solitude is the new story.  Nothing changed in the marketing arena except you need to talk to them one to one instead of one to many.  So direct marketing is Digital Marketing.  So nothing changed DM is DM, just the abbreviation changed.
